At Watts Street Children’s Centre we recognise the importance of your child’s early years. To support early childhood development, we have created a stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages self-confidence, imagination, and respect for others and the natural environment. We provide a caring, supportive and playful environment for children aged 3 months to 6 years.

Everyday our children play, talk, paint, run, share, experiment, negotiate, create and make friends and decisions. Our centre offers children a healthy and stimulating environment, encouraging children to grow into independent, inquisitive learners.

We offer a play-based learning program that is flexible and adaptable to change based on the children’s ideas. This allows them to determine the nature and direction of their learning experience. We believe that this kind of environment inspires individual creativity, expression and resourcefulness - stimulating children to reach their potential. We recognise the importance of parents as the child’s primary educators and role models and we encourage input into your child’s learning journey.

We encourage the children to respect and support each others individual beliefs and we encourage families to share their cultural practices, as we are happy to incorporate these into our multicultural awareness programs.
